The Greenville Dixie Boys All Star team played last week in Eufaula. The boys started out playing Abbeyville on Thursday and won 15-0. They returned on Friday to play Luverne but were rained out. Greenville battled Luverne Saturday and walked away with another win, 9-6. Saturday afternoon Greenville dominated Eufaula in an 11-0 contest. Then Bay Minnette showed up to play on Sunday and stole the Greenville thunder with an 11-4 win.

This is not the end for the Greenville Dixie All Stars team. The team has been invited to play the 2016 World Series in Ozark. They will begin playing in the World Series July 21-July 24.

Coach Andy Williams said, “I want everyone to know how proud I am of the 15U Greenville All Stars. Their heart and determination were unbelievable. We are very lucky to be from a town like Greenville, which invests so much into our children and sports. Gregg Fuller and Cory Thigpen are true assets to our community.”
