Georgiana man accused of drug trafficking

Lajon Pier Pate of Georgiana has been arrested for drug trafficking.

According to River Falls Police Department Pate ran a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 55 and Highway 84.

After attempting to stop Pate, Officer Michael Bishop initiated a vehicle pursuit. Once officers were able to stop the vehicle and Pate was taken into custody.

A large amount of cash and synthetic marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Pate’s bond has been set a $750,000.
