LILLIE MAE THOMPSON

 

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Thompson were held on July 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hudson Funeral Services with Rev. Joseph Feagin, officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directing.

Mrs. Lillie Mae Thompson was born on Sept. 4, 1949 to the late Tommy Lee and Ophelia L. Harris.

Lillie met and married Mr. Willie F. Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Florence McCloud.

She was baptized at an early age.

Lillie left this earthly world on June 29 at her residence surrounded by loved ones and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving children, one son, Jimmy (Sandra) Soles of Georgiana; four daughters, Daphne (Willie) McMeans, Julia L. Soles, both of Greenville, Jacqueline (Gary) Smith of Luverne, Alicia Longmire of Greenville; one sister, Peggy (Jessie)   Clayborne; 18 grandchildren; nine great grands; four brothers-in-law, David (Eva Lois) Thompson, Ernest (Rosie Jean) Thompson, Robert Thompson, Dewayne Thompson; four sisters-in-law, Patricia (Jean) Hasley, Eloise Thompson, Norma (Cleaves) Smith, Sarah (Ricky) Gregory; two devoted cousins, Renee Shephard and Dorothy Smith, both of Greenville; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
