The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) will host its annual fall supper event on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. at the Library Pavilion.

According to GACC Director Francine Wasden, this year’s event will be one for the books.

“We are really stepping out this year,” said Wasden. “We will have a great menu and a talented music group with local connections.”

Wasden explained that the menu will be BBQ oriented with three Chamber members providing different dishes.

“King’s Table Catering out of Montgomery will be serving baby back ribs, baked beans, and dessert,” said Wasden. “BBQ 65, from Greenville, will have coleslaw and chicken, and Blue Spoon Catering from Camden is providing pulled pork and potato salad.”

Wasden added the band Leavin’ Brothers, from Fairhope, will provide the evening’s entertainment.

“Two of the band members’ father was a doctor here, a pediatrician named William Davis,” said Wasden. “Their names are Charles and Evans Davis. They are in the band along with two other guys from the Fairhope area. Most people in Greenville will know and remember this family.”

Wasden said the band’s music style is mostly country, but they play a little of everything.

Tickets go on sale this week and are $30 per person. Wasden said the Chamber will only be selling 300 tickets, and they will not be available for purchase on the night of the event. Patrons must be 21 to attend.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Wasden.
