Fort Dale wins 29-28 in overtime

The Fort Dale Eagles soared past the Morgan Academy Senators in overtime to win Friday night, 29-28.
The Eagles managed to tie the game at 21 in the fourth quarter. The Senators then fumbled the ball at their own 24-yard line with 1:45 left in the game. A missed field goal by the Eagles sent the game into overtime.
The Senators scored first in overtime but the Eagles were able to answer with a touchdown of their own. The Eagles lined up for the PAT but the Senators jumped offside moving the ball to the 1-yard line. The Eagles went for two and were successful.
Luke Taylor had 25 carries for 184-yards with 3 touchdowns and Andrew Salter had 26 carries for 113-yards and 1 touchdown. Clay Mansmann had 14 tackles and Andrew Salter had 8.
The Eagles play at home Friday against Monroe Academy at 7 p.m.
