LUCILLE BROWN REEVES

Lucille Brown Reeves, 80, a resident of Greenville, died at Crowne Health Care on Oct. 31.

The funeral service was held Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation was held Nov. 2 from 9-11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her son and daughter, Tony Edwards and Peggy Abellan, both of Greenville; sisters, Louise Powell of Greenville and Sybil Chapman of Fultondale. She is survived by her husband, James E. Reeves of Greenville; son, Wayne Edwards (Vicki) of Phenix City; daughters, Ann Edwards of Greenville, Joyce Ann Edwards Soto of Phoenix and Kay Reeves Cates (Jim) of Boulder, Colo.; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Brown (Roxie) and Jerry Brown of Trussville, Mickey Brown (Linda) Manistee, Mich. and David Oates of Nashville; sister, Helen Kilpatrick of Greenville; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
