The McKenzie Quarterback Club will be hosting their second annual Holiday Market this Saturday. All monies raised through booth rentals, admission and concessions will benefit the club.
The McKenzie Quarterback Club is the support organization for all of McKenzie High School’s athletic groups. McKenzie Athletic Director, Tony Norris said, “The quarterback club provides financial support for all of McKenzie’s athletic programs. Whether they are paying for a meal for a team or helping offset costs of equipment and facility upgrades, their support is truly beneficial.”
After having a successful market last year, the club made the decision to attempt the event again. This year the holiday market has over 25 vendors signed up. The vendors range from selling homemade items such as embroidered Christmas towels and ornaments to local consultants selling clothes, candles and weight management items. There will also be vendors with baked goods, fruit spreads and honey. In addition, you will be able to purchase many different forms of artwork that will make great gifts for someone during the holidays.
There will be plenty to keep the children busy as well. Inflatables and face painting will be outside to keep them busy while you shop. The Quarterback club will also have the concession stand open so you can enjoy lunch in between shopping.
The market will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Vendors will be set up inside the McKenzie High School gym as well as outside the gym. Admission is $2 a person, ages 5 and up. Inflatables will be $3 for unlimited play time.
