All I want for Christmas is…

Greenville's Christmas tree lighting and parade was a huge success as over 74 entries into the parade, themed 'A Magical Toy Christmas' made their way up main street from the Chamber of Commerce to the Butler County Courthouse by an enchanted crowd of at least a thousand onlookers this past Thursday. Winners of the float contest were Lifeline Church, 1st; Baptist Life Flight, 2nd and Ozark Materials/Southside LAUNCH Children's Ministry, 3rd. Winners of the Vehicle division were Romeo 3's Collision, 1st; Abbie Gardner Ballew State Farm, 2nd and Crowne Health of Greenville, 3rd. A long line of children stood their turn to sit and tell Santa what they wanted for the Christmas tree lighting and parade. (Bruce Branum/The Standard)
