LEE ARTHUR DUNKLIN
Funeral services for the late Mr. Lee Arthur Dunklin (Big Pig) were held on Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. from Braggs Hill AME Zion Church, Rev. Ellis Bandy, officiating.
Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, directed.
On May 11, 1956 to the late Lonzie Dunklin Sr., and the late Lela Pearl Waters, Dunklin a son was born, whom they named Lee Arthur (Big Pig). At an early age he joined the Braggs Hill AME Zion Church. He was employed by the late Lewis Crenshaw and Tom Crenshaw. His special love was for farming, hunting and fishing.
“Big Pig” departed his life Nov. 26 at his home. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lonzie Dunklin Jr., He leaves to cherish his precious memories, daughter, Kimberly Giles; stepdaughter, Lashunda Atkins; step son, James Atkins Jr., two brothers, Cleophus (Jennifer) Dunklin of Greenville and Alfred (Carol) Dunklin, of Pensacola; four sisters, Heloise Womack, Mobile; Shirley (Eugene) Bartholomew, Pensacola; Annie Lois Womack and Angie Dunklin; significant other, Willie Nell Atkins of Greenville; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, one special Cleshun Dunklin and nephews, one special, Contrell Dunklin; cousins, three special , Isaiah Dunklin, Dean Caldwell and Manguel Simmons; friends, four devoted, Jim Kilpatrick, Calvin Stewart, Neill Finklea and Ira Joe Taylor.
