DORIS DAVIS

Doris Davis, 84, a resident of McKenzie passed away on March 4. A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on March 6 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Larry Smith officiated. Burial followed in Bushfield Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, John Davis. Survivors include: sisters, Mable Ward, McKenzie; Frances Seal, Greenville and Rachel Jordan, Flomaton; brothers, Ed Bennett, Geneva; John Bennett, Steve Bennett, and Paul Bennett, all of McKenzie.

Doris is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held March 5 from 6-8 p.m.
