The Greenville junior varsity took down Goshen last Friday night in their last game of the season 13-6.
Head Coach Marcus Mickles said, “With it being our last game, the guys came out motivated to end the year on a good note, and they did so. We had a couple of kids playing out of position, but they really played hard and didn’t allow it to effect their play.
“We had one of the best games we’ve had all year at the plate. We harped to the players; just put the ball in play and good things will happen. I think that played a big factor in the game for us. We finished the season 6-6.
“I saw a lot the guys drastically change over the last couple of months and I feel like we have taken steps in the right direction for the future of Greenville High School baseball program.”
