Baseball is busy for the FDA Eagles. They are currently 12-10 in record after going 2-4 this past week.

Opening the week at home against Escambia Academy on Tuesday, March 27 it seemed the Eagles were flying high with a 14-1 win.

Still soaring, they roped the Hooper Academy Colts 11-1 in their own corral on Thursday, March 30. It was the first game of a double header. Michael LeCoq pitched for the win allowing only 5 hits. Braxton Daniels led the Eagles in hitting with 2 doubles.

The Colts kicked back in the second game winning 4-2. The Eagles defense failed and they committed 5 errors. 4 errors came in one inning. Luke Taylor, even though striking out 8 and pitching a complete game, took the loss, giving up 6 hits.

On Friday, March 31 Lowndes Academy traveled to FDA and gave the Eagles their second loss of the week 6-1.

The next home game scheduled is a double header against Monroe Academy on Tuesday, April 11.

After that they will face Eastwood Academy. It will be the Eagles last home game and is scheduled to be a double header. All games start at 4 p.m.
