ESSIE MAE CRENSHAW

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Essie Mae Crenshaw were held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. from Harrison Street Baptist Church.

Rev. Anthony Baxter was the officiating minister. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville directing.

Essie Mae Crenshaw departed this life into eternal life on April 4 at her residence. She was born November 21, 1925 to the late Henry and Eueline Moorer.

Essie Mae Crenshaw was preceded in death by eight siblings and three sons, Otis Edward Womack, George Wayne Womack and Cecil “Kookie” Crenshaw, daughter in law, Patricia Crenshaw, and grandson, Kerry Smith.

Essie Mae was a member of Harrison Street Baptist Church.

Essie Mae leaves to cherish her memories, five children, John Henry Womack (Linda), Maggie Griffin (Jimmy), Sylvester Crenshaw, Bruce Crenshaw, and Spencer “Tracy” Crenshaw, all of Greenville. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
