Funeral services for the late SSG (R) Edward “Paul” Mullin were held on May 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. from First Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Lionel Davis, officiated. Full Military burial followed in Magnolia cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville directed. SSG (R) Edward “Paul” Mullin was born to the late Ms. Charlotte Franklin on August 10, 1955 in Greenville. He was raised by the late Mr. Robert Greene and Mrs. Malverna Greene. He is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mullin; brother, Lloyd Earl Greene and special friend, Dorothy Yelder. Paul accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee and was a faithful member until his health started to fail. Paul joined the Alabama National Guard serving (20) years retiring as SSG. Paul met Callie Robinson and to this union they were blessed with a son. Callie went on to her heavenly home. Paul was the owner of Paul Cemetery Works and P and D Florist for over(20) years. He has formed a great relationship personally and professional far and near. He has made a great impact in a lot of lives. He was a funny, loving and humble man about his business. Most of all he loved his family especially his grandson. Paul departed this life at his residence. Paul leaves to cherish his memories his son, Gregory Robinson (Laquesta); grandson, Ja-Bryan Robinson; mother, Malverna Greene, all of Greenville; sister, Edna Colvin, Dothan; stepchildren, Loraine Rudolph, Jay-Lee Rudolph, (Jacqueline) Lillian (Joseph) Hamilton, Sharon Robinson (Darryl) and Samaria Robinson, (Darryl), Jacqueline (Michael) Reese and Janet Yelder- Hudson; two sister-in-laws, Mattie Harrison and Dorothy Greene; brother-in-law, Arthur (Blue-Boy) Rudolph; devoted and loyal friends, Men of 2000 Professional Club; Bessie (Mint) Crenshaw, Annie Stewart, Dorothy Mahan, Juliet Bonham and Buddy McBride all of Greenville; a host of grand- children, nephews, nieces, one devoted niece, Shandler Dixon, Dothan and cousins other relatives and friends.
