Congratulations, graduates!

It’s graduation time and pictured above are the Georgiana School graduates tossing their caps with a big hooray on Friday, May 19.

Pictured right is Alex Haire, Greenville High School Valedictorian giving his address to the attendees of GHS graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 20.

It is a community that makes us and our children are the future. At the graduation speeches, all the student speakers spoke of their support and love from the teachers, parents, friends, counselors and school administrators. They included remarks of admiration and tear soaked appreciation, humor and realization of the new world they face.

We pray blessings upon their future. It truly is a different world they enter and one that has changed so much in the time span of their young lives. (Bruce Branum | The Standard)
