CAROL LAVONNE GAFFORD

Carol Lavonne Gafford, 80, a resident of Terrell, Texas passed away May 13, 2017. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on May 22, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Rev. Randy Sexton officiated. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Parris Scruggs; husbands, Tracy Scruggs and James Gafford.

Survivors include: daughters, Lynn Bond, Kaufman, Texas; and Patty Scruggs, Austin, Texas; sisters, Martha Skipper and Ann Foster, both of Greenville; Kitty Stuart, Atmore, and Diane Morgan, Montgomery; brothers, Ralph Newton, Georgia; Ray Newton, Andalusia, and Ronnie Newton, Greenville; grandchildren, Teisha Bond, Galveston, Texas; Amanda Snyder, Ft Hood, Ky. and Savannah Tyree, Terrell, Texas.
