ZACHARY TAYLOR GRANTHAM

 

Mr. Zachary Taylor Grantham, 19, a resident of Greenville died on June 3, 2017 in Troy. The family received friends on June 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on June 8 at First United Methodist Church of Greenville. Reverend Angie Long officiated and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directed.  Burial followed at Sunrise Memorial Park.

Survivors include: father & step-mother, Robert “Bob” & Julie Grantham of Greenville; mother, Marcia Riles of Georgiana; sisters, Hannah Grantham of Montgomery; Amanda Riles of Georgiana; niece, Addison Grantham of Montgomery; step-brother, Jake Gillem of Greenville; paternal grandmother,  Judy Bryant of Murrells Inlet, SC; maternal grandparents,  Arnold & Jean Riles of Georgiana, and a number of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Zach was a member of the Greenville Boy Scout Troop #520, a graduate of Fort Dale Academy, the class of 2015, and played football for Fort Dale Academy. He also attended Troy University in Troy and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the: Baptist Family Resource, 20 Interstate Drive, Montgomery, AL, 36109.

Zach will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
