Snow comes early to Butler County

Snow came early to the Butler County area last Friday evening. After a few cold rainy few days, an inch of snow fell to the delight of many. Toby, who is owned by Lacy Gray and she submitted this photo, was enjoying the snow as evidenced by his big smile. At right are St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the crape myrtles which line the sidewalk on the east side of city hall in Greenville. (Bruce Branum | The Standard)
