BETTYE J. PEAGLER

Peagler, Bettye J., 74, a resident of Greenville died Sept. 9, 2018.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Pastor Mason Halacker officiated and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directed.  The family received friends one hour prior to services.  Committal services were held in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo on Sept. 17 at 11:45 a.m.

Mrs. Peagler is survived by her daughters, Yvondria Battle and Janice Peagler Stone (Ricky) of Prattville; brothers, Jimmy Anderson of Fort Myers, Fla.; Henry Anderson of Orlando, Fla.; Anthony Battle (La’Vette) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; sisters, Blanche Battle, Diane Kinchen (Don) of Fort Myers, Fla.; Glenda Jenkins of St. Petersburg, Fla.; granddaughters, Kanesha Chalmers of Tuscaloosa; Katrina Titus of Orlando, Fla.; Candace Dean of Montgomery; grandsons, Michael Chalmers of Orlando, Fla.; Andrew Tomlin IV (Courtney) of Shaw AFB, S.C.; Timothy James, Jr. (Mekia) of Millbrook; thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
