Nanette Gibson Watts, age 90, of Greenville, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at Crowne Health Care.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Justice Mark Kennedy officiating, and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial followed at Sunrise Memorial Park. A visitation was held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Mrs. Watts was born and reared in the Searcy Community of Butler County in 1929. She attended Butler County Schools and graduated in 1947. She worked most of her adult life at First National Bank and Greenville Bank before concluding her working career at Wal-Mart, working in the office.

Ms. Nanette is preceded in death by her parents Foster and Enna Mae Gibson; her husband, Charles Henry Watts; sisters, Bessie Mae (Pat) Patterson, Elma (Bob) Hawkins, and Beatrice (Glen) Owen; and a brother Milton (Ferristine) Gibson.

She is survived by a daughter, Nan (Hugh) Tompkins of Montgomery; grandchildren, Nate (Caroline) Tompkins of Montgomery and Charlotte Tomkins of Oakland, Calif., and a sister, Virginia Turner of Hermanville, Miss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to:  First Baptist Church Mission Fund, 212 Fort Dale Road, Greenville, AL 36037.
