HORACE A. SIMMONS

Horace A. Simmons, 75, of Ft. Deposit, died Friday Feb. 28, 2020.

Services will be held Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m. from Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Henderson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Belser Cemetery in Briar Hill, Al. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Simmons is preceded in death by his parents, George & Genie Simmons and a sister, Emma Jean Isabelle of Phenix City.

Survivors include, his wife, Paula Simmons of Ft. Deposit; daughter, Carla Lynn Harper (Jeiel ) of Lowndesboro; sons, Michael Horace Simmons (Karen) of Montgomery, Dan Alton Simmons of Ft. Deposit; brothers, Mack Simmons of  North Carolina, Mark Simmons of Greenville; sister, Martha Barganier of Ft. Deposit; grandchildren, Christopher Simmons, Nickolas Simmons, Grant Simmons, Preston Simmons, McKinney Simmons; great granddaughter, Scarlet Simmons; nephews, Sam Barganier of Ft. Deposit, Neil Barganier of Greenville, Jake Simmons of South Carolina, Chris Simmons of Auburn ; nieces, Wanda Bargainer of Ft Deposit, Neena Grooms of North Carolina, April Judd of North Carolina, Brenda Dean of Mobile.
