GEORGE MACK BARROW

Graveside services for Mr. George “Mack” Barrow, 77, of Greenville, were held on July 10, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Brother Randy Harville officiating.  Mr. Barrow passed away at his home on July 9, 2020.

He is survived by his wife 30 years, Elaine Barrow and her daughter Cindy Gaston (Mason); daughter, April Lawrence (Dale); grandchildren Madison Ann Gaston, Davis Gaston, Griffin Gaston, and Roger Dale Lawrence; brother Stanley Barrow (Susan); nephews Hunter Barrow (Michelle), and sons, Nate Barrow and Steve Barrow; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel Barrow and Emma Davis Barrow.

Mr. Barrow was a graduate of Brantley High School and began work at Union Camp shortly after and retired 30 years later. He later worked at Ft. Dale Academy and retired after 10+ years.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed.
