Mr. Roy C. Mickles, Jr., 41, a resident of Greenville, passed on Aug. 7, 2021. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 13 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Carter Rice & West Funeral Home, 10 Chalet Drive, Greenville. Graveside service was Saturday, Aug. 14, 11 a.m. at Zion Rest Church Cemetery, Forest Home, with Rev. Dr. Mark Hawkins officiating.

Roy was born on Dec. 27, 1979 to the late Mr. Roy Chester Mickles, Sr. and Catherine Ball. He married Ebony Davis and with this union, they had three children.

He leaves to cherish his memories with the mother of his children, Ebony Davis; his children, Saleem Mickles, Joy Catherine Mickles and Roy C. Mickles III; stepchildren, Nia and Jena; mother, Catherine Ball; sister, Keeshunda Y. Mickles; brother, Marcus D Mickles; uncle, Willie George Smith; aunts, Tonya Mickles Green and Betty Savage; grandmother, Clara Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
