MARSHAWN THIGPEN

Funeral service for Marshaw Thigpen was held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2021 at the Ft. Deposit Complex at 1 p.m. Pastor Willie Mack officiated; burial was held in Ft. Deposit Cemetery; Hudson Funeral Service directed.

Marshawn DeAndre Thigpen was born on Oct. 30, 1996 to Janie Thigpen and Shawn Hale.

He departed his life on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 in Bibb County.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Linda Rose Scott; grandfather, Mr. Arthur Jenkins; and sister, Parish Hale;  brother, DeAndre Powell; niece, Serenity Powell; aunt, Cassandra Thigpen; and two uncles,  Willie E. Scott and Stanley Hale.

His memories will forever be cherish by two children; mother, Janie Thigpen; father, Shawn (Sabrina) Hale; step father, Henry Bailey;  grandfathers, Willie N. Scott and Ed Brown; grandmother, Shirley Hale; five sisters,  Aquanta Thigpen, Keoka Thigpen, Xavia Marsh, Nybresha Thigpen, Ashawanti Thigpen, and  Shenequoah (Tevin) Pettway, seven brothers, De’Eric Powell, Shawndarius Stiener, Eddie McCall, Demontavis Thigpen, Shawn Hale Jr., DeShawn Hale and Searacy Harris; three uncles, Quaderrius Scott, Stacey McMeans, and Jammie Mason; five aunts, Shantell Scott, Bobbie (Zebbie) Jenkins ,Christine (Terrance) Means, Tracey McMeans, and Sharonda Hale; a host of great uncles, great aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; a special nephew, Johntarance McCray Jr.; five special friends, Kierra Sellers, L. C. Hinson, Leroy Abner, Henry Hale and Jack Jones.
