DONALD FRANKLIN MOUNT

Mr. Donald Franklin Mount, 64, a resident of Greenville, died at his home Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022. The funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin Funeral Home with Brother Rickey Crysell officiating and Dunklin Funeral Home directing. Burial followed at Rutledge Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the funeral service.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Julius Franklin and Eva Nell Mount, and his brother, Ronald Mount.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janice Mount and seven children, Brandi (Lucas) Mosley of Georgiana ; Aftan (Trent) Skipper of Georgiana; Tabitha (Russell) Boggan of Greenville; Bo Mount of Greenville; Sissie (Justin) Smith of Georgiana; Kristen Edwards of Greenville; and Lisa (Michael) Miller of Semmes.

Donald had twelve grandchildren. He is survived by Kayla (Jessie) Kelly of Pine Apple; Faith Burleson of Georgiana; Kamryn Skipper of Georgiana; Kenadie and Dax Mount of Greenville; Brooke Boggan of Greenville; Ethan Smith of Greenville; Ashton and Allie Mosley of Greenville; Kristen Hatcher, Jonah Miller, and Mikaela Miller. He had several great grandchildren.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Hinkley of Greenville; sister-in-law, Angie Mount of Greenville; two nieces, Stephanie Lovelace and Angel (Jimmy) Pratt of Highland Home; two nephews, Derek (Yolanda) Mount of Highland Home and Buck (Janet) Mount of Highland Home. He is survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Lucas Mosley, Trent Skipper, Russell Boggan, Justin Smith, Jessie Kelly, Doyle Hudson.
