DEACON CALVIN ANDERSON

May 6, 1946 – April 8, 2022

Deacon Calvin Anderson was born May 6, 1946. He gained his wings on April 8, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lizzie Anderson and his father, Joe Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Edith Thomas; three daughters, Michelle (Greg) Melton, Charlene Anderson, and Wendy Anderson, all of Greenville; one son, Howard Posey of Greenville; three sisters, Essie Padgett of Gautier, Miss., Lee Etta Briggs of Ocean Spring, Miss., and Meredith Fails of Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, James (Mary) Thomas of Greenville and Carlos (Sandra) Thomas of New Orleans, La.; fifteen grandkids, Prince, DeMichael, JaQuavious, Kenderius, Marderius, Triderius, DeAngelo, Devonta, Courtney, Michael, Mekaylaa, Jalisa, AJ, Jaleen, Ardarius and Shaquaveya; a special brother-in-law, Frank McConnico, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was held April 14, at 11 a.m. at Carter Rice & West Funeral Home with Reverend Shell, officiating.
