THOMAS ALLISON BROOKS

Thomas “Tommy” Brooks died suddenly on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama.

A Memorial Service was held in his honor on Friday, May 27 beginning at 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church on Halso Mill Road in Pigeon Creek with Brother Jayden Carlos officiating.

Visitation was held at the church one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to The Sardis Baptist Church Building Fund C/O Nancy Rives 899 4 Pines Road, Greenville, Alabama 36037.

Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Mary Pauline Ward, Joseph Grady and Nannie Katherine Berry Brooks.

He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Diane Saunders Brooks; son, Adam (Haley) Brooks; daughter, Britten (Billy) Quinley; parents, Hugh and Ann Brooks; sisters, Pam (Ron) Peacock, Tracy (Ricky) Madera; and grandchildren, Waker Quinley, Corbin Quinley, Braelyn Gipson.

Tommy had a personality that was larger than life. He never met a stranger and always knew how to put a smile on your face. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Tommy had recently gained a new friend he enjoyed spending time with. He will be truly missed by his entire family, all those who knew him and his dear friend, Buddy the alligator.
