WILLIAM ROY HENRY, JR.

April 30, 1938 – June 22, 2022

William “Bill” Roy Henry Jr., age 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Bill was born April 30, 1938 in Charleston, South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at his residence, 210 Gorum Road, McKenzie, with Rev. Susan Broadhead officiating and Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, directing arrangements.

Survivors: wife of 64 years, Betty Harris Henry; sons: Michael Carlton Henry (Linda), Carl Ernest Henry (Cathy), and Dale Patrick Henry; grandchildren: April Eubanks (Mark), Michael Paul Henry (Tracy), Katrine Henry, Kevin Henry, and Timothy Henry (Tanisha); great grandchildren: Kailey and Kristen Henry, Julia and Haileigh Eubanks, Aiden, Kendal, Kendra, and Kenneth Henry; sister: Gloria Jean Henry Ard (Girtis Butch); brother: Lawrence Arthur Henry (Angie), and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by parents: William Roy Henry, Sr. and Lottie Mae Bell Henry.

Mr. Henry was a former resident of Macon, Ga. and Mobile, and a resident of McKenzie, for the past 26 years.
