WILLIAM ROY HENRY, JR.

April 30, 1938 – June 22, 2022

William “Bill” Roy Henry Jr., age 84 a resident of McKenzie, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Bill was born April 30, 1938 in Charleston, S.C. His wife Betty and son, Mike, were by his side when he left here for his eternal home.

A Celebration of Life Service was held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his resident, 210 Gorum Road, McKenzie, AL 36456 with Rev. Susan Broadhead officiating, with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, directing the arrangements.

Survivors: Wife of 64 years Betty Henry; sons: Michael Henry (Linda) of McKenzie, Carl Henry (Cathy) of Wilmer, Dale Henry of Mobile; brother, Arthur Henry (Angie) of Macon, Ga.; sister, Jean Mitchell Ard (Butch) of Hiawassee, Ga.; grandchildren, April Henry Eubanks (Mark) of Daphne, Kevin Henry of Mobile, Katrina Henry of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Michael Henry (Tracy) of Daphne, Timothy Henry (Tanisha) of Mobile; great grandchildren, Julia Eubanks and Haileigh Eubanks, Aiden, Kailey, Kaitlin, Kendal, Kendra, Kenneth, and Kristen Henry, Braxton Brannon and William Brannon; and a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Henry was preceded in death by parents, William Roy Henry, Sr. and Lottie Mae Bell Henry.

Mr. Henry has been a giving person and continues this even now by donation of his earthly body to USA Mobile in hopes that he can continue helping someone. “Wild” Bill Henry will be missed by all that were blessed to have known him.
