Betty Cartwright, age 85, of Georgiana, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, Georgiana, with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2 p.m. until service time.

Ms. Betty is survived by her sons, Tim Cartwright (Stephanie), Jimmy Cartwright (Debra), and Ronnie Cartwright (Mary Lynn); grandchildren, Jessica King (Curtis), Brandy Boggan (David), April Daily (Johnny), Tanner Cartwright, and Brody Cartwright; great grandchildren, Abby Cartwright, Sarah Boggan, Ricky Daily, and Ella King; sister, Faye Davis; and numerous half-sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews.

Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James D Cartwright; parents, Melvin and Emma McCann.

Pallbearers were Tanner Cartwright, Brody Cartwright, Curtis King, Johnny Daily, David Boggan, and Ken Brogden.
