Blanche Ballard, age 79, of Georgiana, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022.

Blanche was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly. Her legacy of kindness will live on with her family forever.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, with Bro. Dene McCoy officiating. Burial followed in Bushfield Cemetery, McKenzie, with Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family of Friends was held Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. until service time.

Blanche Ballard is survived by her husband, James Earl Ballard; son,  Dewayne Ballard; daughter, Melissa Scott (Marc); grandchildren, Kristen Ballard, Jenni Ballard, Jacob Ballard, Daniel Ballard, Allie Scott, and Drew Scott; great grandchildren, Landon Ballard, Ella Ballard, Ava Ballard, and Logan Ballard.

Blanche Ballard was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Ballard; and parents, C.J. & Doris Mitchell.
