SETH ALLEN GLASS

A young father, husband, son, brother, and friend was called home Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at the age of 28.
Seth Allen Glass, of Brushey Creek, was born Oct. 19, 1994, in Montgomery, to Gary and Tammy Glass. Most everyone knew him as “Goose” which was a name given to him by Caleb before he was born.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Brushey Creek Baptist Church, Georgiana, with Bro. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial followed in Union Cemetery, Georgiana, with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Brushey Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s, William Allen Bass and Aaron Arthur Posey.
Seth is survived by his wife, Carley Stauter Glass; two daughters, Ryleigh Kate and Remi Claire; parents, Gary and Tammy Glass; brother, Caleb(Amber) Glass; grandparents, Peggy McCormick Bass, Ruby (Mike)Weelborg, and Carlos(Doris) Glass; mother-in-law, Theresa(Curtis) Webb, sisters-in-law, Sarah(Joey)Whatley and Ashley Stauter; nephews and nieces, Bodhi Glass, TK Daughtry, Elizabeth Goldman, Caroline and Madelyn Whatley; uncles, Shannon Bass and Jeremy “Bubba” Smith(Shannon); and cousins, Anthony Bass, Harley, Jaden, Addison and Audrey Smith.
Seth held a deep love for our Lord God Almighty and believed His letter to us. He was an outdoorsman who was passionate about hunting and was a longtime member of Big Buck Hunting Club. Seth also enjoyed fishing, grilling, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Seth touched many people with his enormous heart and never met a stranger. He greeted everyone with a smile and left an unforgettable impression on all who met him. Seth’s greatest accomplishment was being a father to Ryleigh Kate and Remi. His little girls loved their daddy and will forever miss him.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in memory of Seth Glass to Brushey Creek Baptist Church or Big Buck Hunting Club.
