Eagle baseball

The Fort Dale varsity baseball team lost 14-10 early in the week on the road at Lowndes Academy in an offensive battle before winning back-to-back at home over Crenshaw Christian 4-2 and over Escambia Academy 11-1 in five innings. Sophomore Morgan Heath pitched six innings against CCA Thursday, recording four strikeouts and no walks while allowing only three hits and one run. Senior Everette Black pitched the last inning, adding three K’s. Black pitched the first four innings of the Friday Escambia game, striking out six, walking one, and giving up one run. Senior Sterling Arnold registered three strikeouts in the 5th to end the game. Pictured is senior first baseman Brady Long stretching and scooping for an out at first.
