Eagle golf

On Thursday, March 9, the Fort Dale Academy golf team hosted a match with ten AISA teams featuring a total of 48 golfers. The match, held at the Greenville Country Club, was the team’s second outing.

Coach Speed Sampley indicated that players can qualify for state as individuals (by shooting 90 or less) or as a five-person team (by having a combined score of 360 from the top four golfers).

The Eagles have already qualified for the state tournament but will participate in eight more regular season matches including another at home on March 29.  (Kathy Pickens | The Standard)
