Jack Brewton (born Kenneth Oliver Brewton) died on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, after a brief illness at age 99 1/2.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Zula Brewton; daughter, Wanda; and son, Randy.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Wilkinson; grand-daughter, Kelsey; longtime friend, Reuben Squire; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. He loved his country and family with all his heart.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, beginning at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home, with Brother Steve Dunn officiating. The family received friends from 12 p.m. until service time. Burial followed in Morrow Cemetery, Georgiana, with Johnson Funeral Home directing.
