Benefit for Mack Johnson

The Hank Williams Fan Club will host a benefit for Mack Johnson on Sept. 3 at 148 Rose Street in Georgiana. Fish plates with baked beans, coleslaw, bread, tea and cake will be served for $8 per plate from noon until 3 p.m. There will also be a bake sale during the benefit. Live music will begin at 10 a.m. and will be performed by the staff band, New Vision, The Bookers, Harry Phillips, Larry Pittman, Buddy Manning and E.T. Thomas. There will also be karaoke.
