World’s Largest Peanut Boil

The World’s Largest Peanut Boil will begin on Highway 331 in Luverne on Sept.1. The Crenshaw County Shriner’s Club will boil 25 tons of peanuts beginning Labor Day weekend and sales will continue until the peanuts are gone. They will also be roasting one ton of dried peanuts.
