The Greenville Tigers brought home the first win of the season against Rehobeth Friday night. The Tigers outscored Rehobeth 41-7.

Quarterback Brandon Simmons threw for a total of 98-yards and one touchdown. The Tigers had a total of 233 rushing yards.

“I thought we came out and executed well on both sides of the ball. Our goal was to play with more emotion and execute the plays called on both sides of the ball.  We still had too many yards in penalties, which will hurt us in a close ball game. I thought we played well and hopefully this is something we can build upon,” said Coach McClendon of the Tigers win.

The Tigers face Wetumpka Friday night in Wetumpka. Game starts at 7 p.m.
