Mayor and Council sworn in

The City of Greenville council and mayor met to a packed house Monday evening filled with family and friends. All five councilmen and mayor ran unopposed and were sworn in by Probate Judge Steven Norman.
With the retirements of Police Chief Lonzo Ingram, Fire Chief Chad Phillips and City Clerk-Treasurer Sue Arnold announced on Friday, a new group of city officials were also sworn in. Justin Lovvorn is now Police Chief, Tim Warrick is interim Fire Chief and Dee Blackmon is interim City Clerk-Treasure. (Bruce Branum | The Standard)
