McKenzie resident Octavious Mobley was arrested last week in Covington County following a traffic stop.

River Falls Police Chief, Greg Jackson, along with drug task force agents, made the stop for speeding on Alabama Hwy. 55. During the stop, officers noticed the smell of burned marijuana in the truck.

Following a search of the vehicle, investigators found 115 grams of synthetic marijuana, better known as spice, in Mobley’s possession and was charged with drug trafficking.

Mobley was being held on a bond of $277,500.
