FDA scrimmages South Choctaw

Fort Dale varsity football hosted South Choctaw Academy in a scrimmage last Friday. The teams alternated offense and defense every 10 plays. “I was proud of the way our guys competed against someone other than themselves,” commented head coach Eric Folmar. “We were really interested in seeing the effort level and physicality of some of our new pieces, and we came away pleased. We’ve still got a long way to go, but I like the progress this group has made.” The Eagles open the season at home versus Crenshaw Christian at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23.
