Crash claims life

According to Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division, “A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. Monday, July 14, has claimed the life of an Alabaster man. Cameron Brice Acreman, 23, was fatally injured when the 1998 Ford F150 he was driving left the roadway and struck a ditch.”

The crash occurred approximately three miles south of Greenville city limits on U.S. Highway 31.

ALEA reported Acreman was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

ALEA added nothing further is available as they continue to investigate.

Acreman was a Butler County native and graduate of Fort Dale Academy.
