ANTHONY MORGAN

July 17, 1954 – July 5, 2026

Anthony “Tony” Morgan, a cherished resident of Greenville, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at the age of 71.

Born on July 17, 1954, Tony spent his entire childhood in Greenville. He answered the patriotic call to serve his country, enlisting in the United States Navy. His naval career was marked by travels across the globe, including the vast Pacific Ocean and the rugged North Sea.

After his honorable service, Tony returned to the familiar embrace of his hometown, where he dedicated many years to the Pioneer Electric Cooperative until retiring.

Tony leaves behind his loving sister, Mary Kay Kutz of Atlanta, Texas; his beloved niece, friend and devoted caregiver, Mary Alice Kutz of Greenville; nephews, Andrew Kutz and wife Mandy of Austin, Texas, and Jonathan Kutz of Springdale, Ark.; along with his treasured great-niece and great-nephew, Effie and August Kutz.

He joins in rest his father, Albert Morgan; his mother, Mary Morgan; and his three brothers, Jim Morgan, Jack Morgan, and Eddie Morgan.

The family will gather for a private service at Sunrise Memorial Park at a later date.
