Hunter Appreciation Day held

NICOLE NORRIS/THE GREENVILLE STANDARD

Early Saturday morning residents of Pine Apple enjoyed the 21st annual Hunter Appreciation Day. The day was filled artists, merchants, craftsmen, traders and local cooks. Items for sale included handmade arts and crafts, flowers, plants, jewelry, Christmas presents and decorations, furniture, leather goods, children’s items, hunting paraphernalia and household items.

Attendees enjoyed an antique car parade featuring cars, trucks, horses, children on bicycles and ATVs.

The town of Pine Apple holds the Hunter Appreciation Day each year in effort to say thank you to the many hunters and their families who make the Pine Apple area their recreational home and to celebrate the opening of hunting season.
