RUSSELL DAVIDSON SR.

Funeral services for the late Mr. Russell Davidson Sr. were held June 2, 2017 at 12 noon from Braggs Hill AME Zion Church. Rev. Ellis Bandy, Pastor. Rev. Dr. Mark Hawkins, officiated. Burial followed in First Baptist Churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville  directed.

Brother Russell Davidson was born January 2, 1951 in Selma, Alabama to the late Mr. Erskin and Susie Davidson. He was the second of nine children. He is preceded in death by his parents, adopted brother, David Sullivan, daughter, Samanthia   Butler and nephew Lorenzo Crenshaw.

At an early age he joined Braggs Hill AME Zion Church. Russell met and married Loutelia Jenkins to this union four sons were born, Mr. Russell Jr. (Regina) Mr. Padro (Beatrice), Mr. Cecil (Stephanie) and Mr. Undra (Sherese); a very special friend Delois Dunklin; one daughter, Mrs. Teresa (Michael) Smit; and he also had a daughter, Mrs. Natasha (Antonio) Smith; son, Mr. Kentavious Powell, all of Greenville; siblings, Mr. Erskin (Cleo) Davidson, Boone, Iowa; Mr. Marvin (Geraldine) Davidson, Greenville; Mrs. Doretha Davidson, Union City, Ga.; Mrs. Ann Davidson-Wilkerson, Ft. Deposit; Mr. Dwight (Beverly) Davidson, Douglasville, Ga.; Mr. Wade (Pasay) Davidson, Ozark; Mr. Bruce Davies, Mrs. Betty (Frank) McConnico, both of Greenville; and Mr. Wayne (DeAnne) Davidson, Mitchellville, Md.; second mother, Mrs. Mattie Arnold; mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Jenkins; brother-in-law, Keith (Donna) Jenkins, both of Chicago, Ill.; three sister-in-laws, Mrs. Cora (John Henry) Carter, Forest Home; Ms. Vickie Jenkins, Chicago, Ill.; and Valerie (Finley) Robinson, Indiana, Ind.; nineteen grandchildren and three great grands. A host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
