Last Tuesday afternoon’s event was loaded full of football pre-season chatter that would have made any novice fan’s heart race.
The Kiwanis Club of Greenville annual Coaches Corner once again had returned to Greenville’s Beeland Park.
The event, co-sponsored by the Greenville Kiwanis Club and the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce drew a large crowd, with more than sixty in attendance. Coaches and players were introduced to the crowd before the Q&A session aired live on Q94.
The annual event acts as a media day for Butler County’s four high school football programs.
Head coaches, some of their staff and a select group of players from each school were on hand to represent their perspective teams.
WQZX FM Q94 radio personalities Kyle Haines and David “The Hammer” Norrell were again on hand to broadcast live the event and grill the coaches on topics ranging from players to this forth coming football season.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in which there were no new revelations about the teams revealed but an inside prospectus was provided by each coach.
