SFC (Ret) Edward E. Owens, age 65, a resident of Greenville, passed on Friday, May 31, 2024. Funeral service was held at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 1610 Oakey Street Road, Greenville, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. Military honors were rendered at the final resting place at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenville, with Carter Rice & West Funeral Home directing.
