Girls:

The 12U All Stars played and won against Geneva Monday, June 17, and were proclaimed District Champions. They advance to Dixie State Tournament in Troy starting July 5.

The 10U All Star team defeated Crenshaw County Monday, June 17 and were proclaimed District Champions. They advance to Dixie State Tournament in Troy starting July 5.

Boys:

Over the weekend, the Greenville 10U All Stars competed in the Dixie Sub State Tournament and secured a spot in the Dixie State Tournament.

In the sub state tournament, the Greenville All Stars defeated Auburn Blue and Ozark, which sealed their spot in the state tournament. They did lose once to Opelika.

The Greenville All Stars defeated Auburn by a score of 17-0. Conley Henderson and Jake Bowen had home runs to lead the offensive production. The duo combined for four hits and seven RBI’s.

On the mound, Weston Booker and Austin Heartsill finished the game only allowing two hits. Booker struck out 4.

The Greenville All Stars then fell to Opelika by a score of 12-5. Paxton Barbaree and Austin Heartsill collected two hits each in the game.

In the final game, Greenville defeated Ozark by a score of 17-13. Easton Booker led with three hits. Ryan Scott and Rylan Watson added two hits with two RBI’s each. Kody Oliver contributed a hit with two RBI’s, and Crawford Piper had a hit with an RBI.

The State tournament will be held in Dothan, starting July 12.

The Greenville 12U All Stars competed in the Dixie Sub State tournament with hopes of securing a spot in the Dixie State Tournament. However they fell just short of that goal, finishing the weekend with a 1-2 record.

This ends the Greenville 12U All Stars season.
