He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved riding dirt roads and listening to classic rock. He enjoyed bonfires, barbecues, and good friends. Some of his favorite places to visit were Hugley Bridge, Halso Mill, and Cedar Creek. He was an avid book reader who had accumulated quite a collection of science fiction books. He also enjoyed watching Star Trek Episodes and military documentaries in his spare time.
After taking an early retirement due to illness He devoted his time to making memories with his grandchildren. He was a very loving grandfather. He has left his grandchildren with many wonderful memories all of which they will cherish for a lifetime. He was especially proud to welcome into the world his first great granddaughter this year.
He worked hard. He played hard. And he loved even harder.
