Douglas C Herring, 85, a resident of Georgiana, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

Graveside Service was held Saturday, Aug. 17, beginning at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Georgiana, with Bro. Gary Glass officiating and Johnson Funeral Home directing. The family began receiving friends for visitation from 12-1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana.

Mr. Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Cathy Wood Herring.

Mr. Doug was survived by number of nieces and nephews, and other family members.
